Rates
EyeEdit calculates service rates on a per-project basis. While prices vary, we want to help you make an informed decision by giving you an idea of our standard rate ranges (which are equal to or slightly less than industry standards).

- We offer flexible, affordable payment terms for all projects. We are not motivated solely by material gain. Therefore we will be happy to work our rates and services into your budget on a project by project basis. Please feel free to discuss your budget with us.
- We do offer range estimates and/or flat rate estimates. When we offer a range estimate, the total billed may fall below the lowest cost projection but will not exceed the high-end estimate. With flat rate estimates, we ask clients to set a maximum hour or dollar limit on the work. We will then work towards that limit, and update clients as work progresses.
- Weekend/Rush Rates of from 20-30% of the total project cost may apply for same day, overnight, or weekend turnaround.
- We offer first time client, student and senior discounts.
- We provide estimates in advance. We calculate our estimates using industry formulas, which factor in the total number of words/pages in a document and the rate of pages per hour that correspond to the level of editing, reading or work the project will require.
- The rates for grant writing, editing and proofreading services depend on the size, time and level of intricacy involved in your grant proposal, as well as the specific requirements of your potential funder. Thus, the rates for these services are determined on a per-project basis.
