Our Process
At EyeEdit, we want our clients and potential clients to understand our process from start to finish.
- You feel under pressure to produce high quality written material.
- You request a free estimate, or contact us via our contact form or e-mail to tell us what type of project you are working on.
- We receive your request, and we provide you with a free sample edit and estimate, up to five pages, depending on the length of your project.
- We discuss our services and rates with you. If you are pleased with the sample edit and estimate, we provide you with a contract. Then, you submit your full work to us.
- You relax and leave the fine tuning to us.
- We work to complete the project by your deadline.
- We make queries and “mark-up” a hard copy of the document, or use “track changes” in Microsoft Word to both incorporate all suggestions/corrections and show you what those changes were. We will be happy to give you a tutorial of “track changes” if you are unfamiliar with the “track changes” functions in various software packages.
- We send you an invoice as soon as the project is completed.
- We send you the finished work when we receive payment and look forward to our next project with you!
- We all rejoice!

Please note: we offer flexible, affordable payment terms for all projects. We are not motivated solely by material gain. Therefore we will be happy to work our rates and services into your budget on a project by project basis. Please feel free to discuss your budget with us.
